These Terms & Conditions govern the use of the LECOE platform, website, progressive web app (PWA), educational experiences, content, and related services.

By accessing or using LECOE, you agree to these Terms.

1. About LECOE

LECOE is an AI-powered educational and creativity platform designed for children aged 7–13 and their parents or guardians.

Our goal is to help children learn, think creatively, and build confidence through guided educational experiences.

2. Parent or Guardian Responsibility

Accounts must be created by a parent or legal guardian.

By creating an account, you confirm that:

  • you are at least 18 years old; and
  • you are the parent or legal guardian of the child using the platform.

Parents are responsible for supervising their child’s use of LECOE.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • misuse the platform;
  • attempt to bypass safety systems;
  • upload harmful, illegal, or inappropriate material;
  • interfere with platform security;
  • copy, reproduce, or commercially exploit LECOE content without permission.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Educational Purpose

LECOE is designed for educational and creative learning purposes only.

While we aim to provide accurate and helpful experiences, LECOE does not replace:

  • formal schooling;
  • professional educational support;
  • parental supervision or guidance.

5. AI Features

Some areas of LECOE use AI-generated outputs and recommendations.

AI responses may occasionally:

  • contain inaccuracies;
  • produce unexpected results; or
  • require parental guidance or review.

We apply safety systems and moderation measures designed to make the platform appropriate for children.

6. Accounts & Security

Parents are responsible for:

  • maintaining account security;
  • keeping login information confidential;
  • managing access to child profiles.

We may require verification steps such as email authentication or security PINs.

7. Intellectual Property

All platform content, including but not limited to:

  • characters;
  • branding;
  • videos;
  • lessons;
  • graphics;
  • animations;
  • interfaces;
  • educational systems;
  • software and AI experiences;

remain the property of LECOE / AMATA unless otherwise stated.

You may not copy, distribute, modify, or commercially use our content without written permission.

8. User Creations

Children may create content within LECOE, including stories, drawings, ideas, or projects.

Parents retain ownership of their child’s original creations.

However, by using LECOE, you grant us permission to:

  • store creations;
  • display them within the account experience; and
  • use anonymised insights to improve the platform.

We do not publicly display children’s creations without appropriate consent.

9. Platform Availability

We aim to keep LECOE available and functioning smoothly, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access at all times.

Features may change, improve, pause, or be removed as the platform evolves.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, LECOE shall not be liable for:

  • indirect losses;
  • data loss;
  • service interruptions;
  • device compatibility issues;
  • reliance on AI-generated outputs.

Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot legally be excluded under UK law.

11. Privacy

Your use of LECOE is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
